We are seeking bilingual (Spanish) personnel for a temporary assignment as a medical clerk checking in patients at our specialty medical clinic. Medical Assistants highly encouraged to apply.
The Medical Clerk position is an OUTDOOR position where the Medical Clerk will promptly check in patients from the practice parking lot Check-In Station. They will Screen patients for accuracy of identifying the right patient and right appointment. They instruct patients on the next step of the registration process and are responsible for keeping a continuous, steady flow of drive up patients. They must be aware of patient whereabouts and timely patient flow for checking in and checking out all patients while minimizing waiting times.
Must Dress for weather adequately.
Job Details:
- Check in and discharging patients after treatment.
- Must be able to sit and walk and be on their feet a great part of the shift.
- Must be able to multi task and requires high attention to details.
- Must be punctual and have excellent attendance.
- Must Dress appropriately and be prepared for outside weather conditions.
- Fast paced, high volume patient check in processing.
- Medical Assistants, Externs, and Medical receptionists are highly preferred.
- Candidates have the potential to apply to one of the full-time positions as they become available.
